Content description

In an extension of his 2001 Venice Biennial pavillion for Japan, Masato Nakamura has produced 1000 sets of plastic, accordion-style screens emblazoned with those ubiquitous – cheery, yet insidious – harbingers of American capitalism, The Golden Arches. A criticism of corporate culture in a convenient, collapsable form!

The formula-like title QSC+mV is a clever play on a McDonald’s mantra: “Quality, service, and cleanliness makes value.” Decorate your dinner table for a happier meal…
